About the President and Founder:   

Since 1995, Joanna Diamond has been an international executive search consultant, providing global clients with insight into all hospitality related areas including organizational development, staffing, executive leadership and retention. Based in south Florida, current clients include four and five star international cruise lines, hotels, resorts and gaming organizations around the globe.

Born and raised in South Africa, Joanna received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business and International Marketing from The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. After graduation and an internship with Forte Hotels in its New York Sales & Marketing department, Joanna joined a boutique international Executive Search Firm based in Manhattan, the IMC Group of Companies, focusing on the hospitality industry worldwide. Responsible for recruiting senior level executives for the luxury segment, Joanna became the youngest Vice President in the company's 40 year history and was instrumental in senior placements at corporate, regional and property-level around the world.

Eager to branch out, after leaving the IMC Group, Joanna began consulting in the field of Hotel Quality Assurance, going "under cover" and providing Quality Assurance/Mystery Guest reports for several five-star hotels.  In 2001, she joined as Recruitment Consultant one of the world's largest luxury cruise lines in Miami, Royal Caribbean International (now Royal Caribbean Group) after which, in 2002, Joanna founded her own hospitality-focused Executive Search Firm, Diamond Recruiters International Inc.  Joanna has successfully placed hundreds of senior level executives in the hospitality industry around the world including hotels, resorts, casinos, and cruiselines.  Unfortunately, due to COVID 19 restrictions, Joanna has temporarily stopped recruiting, and in 2020, she and her husband founded an international marine accessories business, which now has over 30 US and international distributors.

Joanna holds an Advanced SCUBA diving certification through PADI, and invented the world famous SNORKELBUOY (a snorkel float which stops your mask and snorkel from sinking).  She is passionate about dogs (having rescued two from a shelter, adopting one and finding a forever home for the other), is a certified Master Beekeeper (through IFAS, University of Florida), and is passionate about saving honey bees and assisting with honey bee removals.  Her honey bee website is www.saveourhoneybees.com.
